For those of you who smacked your foreheads with peanut butter tied to a desk; i'm doing well. Not 'well' in healthy, accurate, assured, or emotionally stable. But well in longevity.

The past months have been a hurdle of turns from a horror movie with cheap thrills involved. At one point I wanted to move to Connecticut. The indistinguishable sense of living between two lives has created a small wart in which is badly injured; but soon to change.

I cleaned up my office last week from the clutter Mr.Pee left behind. My second client's project is completed. I'm moving on to my next project, in which I'll work with one fifty-seven other individuals. Keeping my blog genetic, misleading, and provocative also in progress.

My Roketa moped runs on 2 Gallons, last 1 week.

Picked up Winnie Foster's The Encyclopedia of Game Machines on amazon last weekend. usually skeptical on video

game books, but since this was recommended by the folks over at Insert Credit, and had raving reviews I decided to pick it up.

The overall book is very well put together. Basically goes over 450 home consoles, (rounded to 420 full console reviews -- since the more obscure 30 are semi explained in the back with no photos) with full photos, descriptions, last game published until, complete models, and how well they sold amongst the competition at the time.

The book is split up into 4 segments. First, explains the different storage of each console (floppy disk, Hudson's Hu Card, GDROM ect) briefly. Second goes over first computer/arcade built. Then branches off into 4 eras.. Beginning (Atari, C64, MSX ect) until the crash, return of 8-bit (Nintendo, PCE, SMS ect), 32/64-bit + handheld - (Saturn, Nuon, 3DO ect) until Today: which is Xbox and Nintendo DS since it was published in 2003. But I would fully recommend picking up a copy

As you may know or not know, I moved my game room around a bit. Its now located in the front room of the house - that is the consoles in which I still use. I also made good use of these small drawers that were nearby. Although my NES, Playstation one games, Dreamcast originals, miniature figurines, video game magazine collection are still in the back room tucked away from dust. 4/15/08

Event: Rockstar Taste of Chaos 2008

Lets begin shall we?

This years Rockstar Taste of Chaos featured dozen of bands including MUCC, and D'espairsRay. I've already made plans to meet with some friends but trouble began that very morning. I arrived a bit late -- 2PM (Show started at 5PM) and missed my friends at the signing booth. They managed to stalk members of The Underneath (formally known as  Transtic Nerve), D'espairsRay around Bayfront Park as well. They got to hang out with Taka from The Underneath. Back to my venturing, we managed to skip a couple dozen people waiting in line by signing up to donate bone marrow o__o' in which they swabbed our mouth cheeks, thus having a handful (less than 30 people) enter the area 30 minutes before official entrance.

So, we managed to make it front row the whole time. Picked up some official merch, including a shirt. Also they didn't have MUCC's Shion available (which they should have since it was the release date the show was on) so instead I bought FUZZ single.

Moving on, D'espairsRay made its way on center stage.

D'espairsRay - Bayfront Park

Very heavy performance, most songs performed were off MIRROR album.

The crowd was filled with screaming/awing fangirls that would take note of everything any band member did on stage - which someone annoyed me. Since I was there to listen, mosh, and enjoy the performance. They would be stiff. At least they would sing along unlike the rest of the crowd that were their for other artists.

MUCC - Bayfront Park

Next up was MUCC -- Tatsurou (vo) blue shorts and a American striped cap busting on stage with an intense lineup, so intense I can't recall all the songs performed!

My friends managed to take more than 100 photos, of all the performances and signings. DiNG.Com posted up more photos of the show - I also appear in a dozen of them if you look closely.

Afterwards I went to the signing and called my friends over (Ian, Mandy) for D’espairsRay. I bought a poster in which they can sign. Then was the MUCC signing, I had them sign my single, and poster and having a fumbling handshake with Tatsurou .___. ~ !

I caught The Underneath play a bit, but at that time I was buying more merch. Later we decided to make haste of our previous time and head to the Afterparty located in Hard Rock Cafe. But their was a catch. You had to sign up online first, but I still managed to get in thanks to Ian's friend that got me in. As we waited until 10PM we went to FYE and messed around a bit.

The after party was insane. Most all members of MUCC, D'espairsRay, and Bullet for my Valentine were getting durnk and parting in there. My friends managed to get a few last snapshots of the memebers at their most sober moments. It was getting late and I decided to head back.
